Can my item be engraved?
Yes. We engrave on the reverse of the steel medical alert plate.
Up to 3 lines with maximum of 25 characters per line
The engraving plate is there for the essential, critical information paramedics, first responders and potentially even members of the public or schools need in an emergency. In the event of an emergency, the universal medical alert symbol on the front of your bracelet will alert medics to vital information. The plate is easily flipped over to reveal the engraving.
We suggest you include:
- Your name
- Any CRITICAL medical conditions, allergies or drugs that might affect how you are treated in an emergency (such as blood thinners)
- An ICE contact number - preferably a mobile
ICE stands for 'In Case of Emergency'. Emergency Services are also trained to look for ICE contacts in your phone so make sure it's in there too. Both android and iPhones will allow access to ICE contacts even when the phones are locked.

Who is my bracelet named after?
Forrest M. Bird (b. 1921): An American pilot and inventor best known for creating the first reliable mechanical ventilators which are used in cardiopulmonary care. Dr Bird began his career as a pilot, making his first solo flight at the age of 14 and earning his first aviation license at 16. By the time he enrolled in the Air Force at in 1941, he was qualified to be a technical air training officer. This qualification allowed Dr Bird to fly nearly every plane the Air Force had to offer, including several that exceeded comfortable breathing altitudes. This experience prompted him to invent ventilation aids. In 1955 his work resulted in the release of the Bird Universal Medical Respirator, a pneumatic ventilator that is still in use around the world today.
I love this company! They really do understand that medical alert bracelets don’t have to be boring. They can be eye catching and gorgeous! I struggled to choose just one so I will probably get a few different ones so I can accessorise with my outfit just like I would with any other piece of jewellery. Lovely bracelet I wear when out alone. Nice and discrete yet I know paramedics will find relevant information.
Very good just a bit loose it's hard to just get the right fit encase you send a size and its to small but very nice presented
